Evidence before adjectives
Editorial policy
Our method separates regulator facts, operator disclosures and the desk’s own judgement.
The verification gate
- Open the UK Gambling Commission public-register account.
- Confirm the Casino Remote activity is active and current.
- Match the legal licensee and account number to the operator’s own legal wording.
- Check the exact public destination works and serves the relevant brand.
- Exclude the operator if a mandatory field cannot be established.
How grades work
The letter grade is our editorial assessment of how clearly a reader can inspect the legal operator, licence trail, product scope and safer-gambling route. It is not issued by UKGC, is not based on user votes, and says nothing about winning prospects. The published set uses grades A to D; a lower grade does not mean the operator lacks the active licence stated in its row.
Sources
We favour the UKGC public register, official regulator and advertising-code material, and the operator’s own legal, privacy and responsible-gambling pages. Affiliate websites are not evidence of licensing.
Promotions and product claims
Offers are omitted unless every material condition can be verified close to publication. We do not fill a table with guessed payment methods, withdrawal speeds, game counts or support hours.
Commercial influence
Commercial relationships can influence the eligible shortlist and order. They do not override verification. This limitation is stated beside the comparison rather than buried in a policy page.
Re-checking and corrections
We re-check when content is reviewed, when a credible correction arrives or when a material change becomes known. We do not promise a review interval that the publisher may not be able to maintain. Send evidence to desk@ukjackpotworks.com.
